About a year ago, Industry Minister Nabindra Raj Joshi had announced that amount to the hospital.
Former Minister Joshi had decided to provide funds to the eye hospital from the budget of the current financial year. The government has provided the amount of money for purchasing the machine for Intraocular Lens laboratory.
The hospital also produces Intra Ocular lens (IOL) of eyes and exports abroad in large quantities. The lens produced by the hospital is a high demand in the world. According to the hospital, the hospital will provide the lens to the citizens at the convenience level after getting fund from the Government of Nepal.
