Nepal Eye Program, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology NEP-TIO, a center of excellence in comprehensive eye care service delivery including training; research; intraocular lens manufacturing facility; eye bank and community program is currently looking for qualified Nepali candidates to apply for the following positions on the time-bound basis.

1. Position: Research Officer
Number of requirement: 1 (One)
Work Station: TIO
Level: 6
Project period: Two years which is renewable thereafter subject to satisfactory performance
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or related area with 2 Years of works experience.
- Preference will be given to those who are from Eye health/ Public health background.
- Proficient knowledge and skill to perform fieldwork and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate with the local level! FCHV in Kathmandu District.
- Logistic and fieldwork preparation.
- Monitor field work and continuously report to the department.
- Help to data management in research department with coordinating research staffs
- Prepare research-related reports.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and seminars to share/disseminate research related works.
- Assist in other research activities running under the research department.
2. Position: Account Assistant
No of Requirement: 1Level: 5B
Work Station: Program & Outreach
Minimum Requirements:
- Intermediate with 3 years experience in Jr. Assistant level in a related field.
- Good working knowledge in Tally ERP-9, MS office, and Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record/check and report the financial transactions and establish internal control of CFCs
- Reconcile CECs transaction, Revenue, Party, IDT and Banks on a periodic basis
- Go for onsite financial inspection of CECs and projects in periodic- basis
- Record / inspect and report logbook of trading non-trading stock and its movement
- Prepare a periodic report for Head Office, CECs and Partner agencies
- Ensure compliance of regulating authority, tax legislation, and accounting standard.
- Assist in planning, budgeting, external auditing, and data analysis and interpreting.
3. Position: Jr. Account Assistant
No of Requirements : 3Work Station: TIO/Bhaktapur/Program & Outreach
Level: 4
Minimum Requirements:
- Intermediate or 10+2 with 3 years of work experience in a related field.
- Good working knowledge in Tally ERP-9. MS Office and Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make various kind of primary entry/vouchers and other transaction in the system
- Reconcile CECs transaction, Revenue, Party, IDT and Banks on a periodic basis
- Record / inspect and report logbook of trading / non-trading stock and its movement
- Ensure compliance of regulating authority, tax legislation, and accounting standard.
- Able to work under pressure along with good interpersonal and time management skills.
4. Position: Eye Health Worker
No of Requirements: 4Work Station: TIO, Palung
Level: 4
Minimum Requirements:
- CMA/ANM
- Preference will be given to those who have experience in a related field.
- Registered in Nepal Health Professional Council
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as supporting staff in OPD and OT and Outreach activities
- Able to work under pressure
- Good command in both English and Nepali
