Eye Health Hero: Junu Shrestha
Junu, at age of 12 proved herself as an eye health hero by accepting to help a visually challenged girl, Sristi KC who was struggling for her government board exam of grade 10. From the government board exam to university exams, Junu helped her write in all the exams. Junu was the hero behind the curtain when Sristi was awarded the gold medal for being the university topper.

Eye Health Hero: Dipak Kumar Sah
Dipak Kumar Sah is one of the most dynamic, efficient, focused and promising leaders in the eye health sector of Nepal among his contemporaries. He has been working to provide vision care to under served and displaced population for the last 9 years while he was a student and has served more than 60,000 patients by organizing more than 300 eye camps from different organizations in the rural and unreached population in Nepal.
Eye Health Hero: Sujata Bhandari
“Sujata Bhandari grew up in Nepal where unequal gender roles were and still remain prevalent.” As a woman, she overcame many challenges and worked tirelessly to become an eye health professional. She is passionate about eye care and serving people in need. Because of this passion, Sujata is firmly committed to reaching people in remote communities. In 2017, she assumed her position as the Clinic-In-Charge at the Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh’s Lumbini Eye Institute District Eye Care Center in Pyuthan. This clinic is one that Seva Foundation directly supports.
