Nepal’s Eye sector is Significant: Health Minister

Health Minister, Mr Upendra Yadav has praised Nepal’s Eye Health Sector as being worth mentionable. Eye sector in Nepal has achieved an important milestone says health minister Yadav.

Ophthalmologists team from Pakistan have visited the ongoing 14th Biennial SAARC Academy of Ophthalmology Conference 2018″ in Kathmandu. In the welcome program organized by Nepal-Pakistan friendly and Cultural Association, Minister Yadav said that the progress achieved on human resources and eye hospitals in Nepal could help our neighbour nations as well.

He added, ” For the healthy life of people living in the South Asian country, there needs to be better coordination amongst the doctors. He said Nepal- Pakistan friendship needs to be further expanded in the future.

Ambassador of Pakistan for Nepal Dr. Majhar Javed, on the occasion, said that the exchange of technical knowledge between doctors of two countries would help to extend traditional friendship relations to the public level.

He also informed that the scholarship provided by Pakistan Government to Nepal has been “seat” doubled. “Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association was thanked for the various creative works.

In the program, chairmen of association, HimalayaShamser Rana, and general secretary Manjuratna Shakya told that these kinds of health campaign are conducted twice a year since seven years to expand the relations between Nepal and Pakistan.
