Nepalese Association of Optometrist has recently shown concern regarding the vacancy for the post for Optometrists published by Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology on 13th June 2019. As per NAO officials that their association finds this vacancy misleading regarding various details mentioned. Their concern is regarding the technical subject( It must me Optometry rather than anything else). Another concern is not differentiating between an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Optometry. An institute running both undergraduate and postgraduate course should not be ignorant about the levels of degree. They submitted the letter of concern to HRD tilganga, CEO tilganga, Chairman, Nepal Health Professional Council(NHPC) , The Dean, Pokhara University, The Vice-Chancellor , NAMS and requested for the correction of the details in vacancy.
