IT’S TIME!

THE WORLD SIGHT DAY
PHOTO COMPETITION IS LIVE.
HELP MARK #WSD19 AND DRAW ATTENTION TO AVOIDABLE BLINDNESS AND VISION IMPAIRMENT.

With the theme, “#VisionFirst!”, IAPB encourages you to share images that highlight the impact, and strength of our partnerships and most importantly highlight the importance of vision everywhere in the world.

CATEGORIES:

It is open for all, as long as you own the copyright to your competition entry as it’s author. You can be a amateur or professional photographer, you all are welcome to entry this competition. Submission are invited in two categories. You decide which category for each submission

Please note: “Professional” applies to the quality of the photo and the equipment used (not the setting or qualification of a photographer).

Professional

Amateur

noun am·a·teur ˈa-mə-(ˌ)tər, -ˌtu̇r, -ˌtyu̇r, -ˌchu̇r, -chər: a person who does something (such as a sport or hobby) for pleasure and not as a job.
PRIZES
Every week, we will pick “Editor’s picks” and showcase them on IAPB’s social media accounts, Facebook and Twitter. Finally, winners will be selected from these Editor’s picks after World Sight Day (the last day of the competition).

The Amateur prize will be a professional camera: Canon 1200 D DSLR camera.
The professional prize this year will be a cash prize of USD 1000.

The competition will be open till 10 October 2019 – World Sight Day, after which we will pick two winners and 5 runners-up.
Winners will be announced on 14 October 2019 and contacted by mail following the announcement.
