Vision is the process of interpreting what is seen. Vision plays a key role in the learning process. Research shows that 80% of learning happens through vision. This just means that a vision problem can cause major setbacks for your child’s success in school. As a result, this can lead to frustration and poor self-esteem.

1) Their homework takes much longer than it should.

What to do if you see one or more of these signs???

Many of these vision problems will not be detected during a school vision screening or limited vision assessment as part of a school physical or routine pediatric health evaluation. If you notice your child experiencing one or more of these behaviours, schedule them an appointment for a comprehensive eye exam.
